Frequently asked questions

How long does it take?

The delivery time depends basically on the number of words of the source document, but we do everything possible to meet our customer needs. Please specify whether your translation is urgent or not.

How much does a translation cost?

The price is estimated according to the number of words of the original document and how urgent it is. For sworn translations, the minimum price per page is 35 €.

For a free non-obligation quote, please send us an e-mail or call us (+34 977602216 / +34 686773639).

Do I need to send the original documents?

It is not necessary to send the original documents by mail. Since a sworn translator only certifies the translation content, not the authenticity of the document, the documents can be brought in person or sent by e-mail.

How are translations delivered?

Before 2015, certified translations were always delivered printed on paper and signed by hand. However, since the approval of Law 39/2015, of October 1, on the Common Administrative Procedure of Public Administrations, Spanish public administrations have the obligation to accept the presentation of documentation in digital format. For this reason, we can offer to deliver the digitally signed sworn translation and send it to the client by email.

Of course, the sworn translation can also be delivered on paper, either by post or in person, if the client requests it.

What happens if I cannot deliver or collect the documents in Valls (Tarragona)?

The original documents can be sent scanned by email or by postal mail, and the sworn translation can be delivered by email (with digital signature) or by courier service.

What happens if the official document is written in a co-official language of the state (Catalan/Valencian, Basque or Galician)?

We can only translate into English documents written in Spanish. If the document is written in a co-official language of Spain (Catalan/Valencian, Basque or Galician), contact the issuing administration. In accordance with current regulations, it has the obligation to issue it in Spanish if the interested party requests it.
